Processes

The process uses the infrastructures established in the National Retail Data Monitor, monitoring traditional medical data such as local doctor and hospital figures, and medical product retail information to understand 'normal' levels of illness activity.

Our system proposes to use this high level monitoring process, linking retailers to shared databases, to be then filtered to a level that can be broadcast to the public without any risk of causing excess panic or paranoia (?) to inform of changes in illness levels, for a specific area.

The advantage of this system is that there would be an increased, location specific, public awareness of the state of the general populations health, with a far greater sense of 'real time status' than previously available, on this scale.
